About Sasa Designs UK
Sasa Designs is about colour and shape with a bit of fun thrown in.
Sarah Galambos
Welcome to Sasa Designs and the fun and enjoyment I have with shapes and colours.
Until my early teens my life was spent in the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia and those pictures of golden sands, rolling blue waves with their white surf, along with that specific green of the eucalyptus tree, are imprinted in my memory. The vibrant colours and patterns of my Hungarian heritage also feature strongly in my thoughts.
I have been a crafter from childhood always enjoying doing things with my hands and moved on from macrame and air brushing to a passion for photography and the photo books I made from my travels in the Americas, Antarctic, the Middle East and Russia are a continuing delight.
My maternal roots are in the UK and my secondary and further education took place in Hampshire. Some of my jewellery is on sale at the St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery gift shop in Lymington.
I am now based in North Somerset and during lockdown, after exploring mosaicing and glass fusion, found that resin is a perfect medium to capture the power and joy of colour. It has such versatility and scope to produce individual pieces each of which has its own character and style.
I hope you may find something that will enhance your lifestyle and bring fun and colour to you or your friends and family.
